Trad Publishers buying out indie successes...
Publishing expert Jane Friedman recently reported that traditional publishing deals involving self- and hybrid-published authors nearly doubled between 2024 and 2025. She counted 49 such deals in 2024 and 93 in 2025, with many involving six- and seven-figure contracts.
