Do I Need a Kickstarter Account?

I am leaning toward coming to the Novel Marketing conference, eager for some personalized suggestions for my marketing. I tried to sign in to pledge but it asked me to LOG IN first. I didn’t know what I was logging in to, Author media or Kickstarter? Do I use the same credentials? If not, do I have to create a Kickstarter account in order to buy a ticket for the conference?

Different but related question: I researched my Author media credentials I use for courses to sign into Social, and it didn’t accept my password. I usually access my courses thru Teachable, so I don’t know if I now have to change my Teachable password to match the Author media password. Thank you! Kyle
