Jayna’s final November report

Well, y’all, I really bombed the rest of November. After my last update on November 19, I ran headlong into a new batch of research that really affected the next section of the story, so while I’ve been thinking and planning and researching, I didn’t get any more actual writing done in the month of November. Still, I wrote 15,422 words for the month, which was just over half of my goal but more progress than I would have had without this added accountability.

The main thing, as @Theresa A. Markham asked about on one of my earlier updates, is not losing momentum, and I certainly lost momentum after such an extended planning break. It got easier and easier to say, “I’m still thinking; I’ll get back to writing later.” That’s no one’s fault but my own.

So here’s hoping for better things in December. I’ll post a separate thread for my December goals and updates.
