Week 2: Snowflake

Project: Jimmy Veritas in Escape from Battle Bot Island
(Middle Grade Adventure Book)

This Week:

1. Create a Snowflake Method Template ✅

2. Get through step 5 and into step 6 this week (step 6 is the multi-page outline)

November Goal: Finish at least 5,000 words of the first draft.
End of Year Goal: Finish first draft (25K - 30K words).

Life Context

My entire family has been sick (cold or what have you) since the beginning of November. So, I’ve lost, oh! so much time. I finished a rough first draft of another novel and have decided to put it on the shelf for now and PIVOT to this next book for my kids.

Pivoting to a new project this week for two reasons:

1. Previous project needs WAY more raw research to be compelling and have sufficient VERISIMILITUDE (aka truthyness) to have a shot at making any money.

2. I can research while I write the next project. 😄
