Week 3: The Great Meltening . . .

As I wrote last week I am working on a middle grade adventure book called Jimmy Veritas in Escape from Battle Bot Island.

For this book I set out to try two new things:

1. Use the Snowflake Method

2. Use Gemini to be a “writing buddy” during the outline process

Previous Week’s Goals:

1. Create a Snowflake Method Template

2. Get into step 6 of the METHOD

Updates:

The Snowflake Method may be the true song of my heart. It really resonates with how I think about stories. To that end, I bought the book! I will be updating my template to match my deeper understanding gained from the book.

However, Gemini ate my homework. Well, more accurately, it forgot almost our ENTIRE CHAT. Friends, I caution you: backup your chats with LLM’s! Or, upgrade to a version that allows you to keep an archive of the work.

Week 3 Goals:

1. Finish reading the book How to Write a Novel Using the Snowflake Method

2. Re-Outline my book using the method into step 6
