Hi, Writing beautiful stories of hard subjects

Finding one’s identity within an environment of silent repression is not an easy subject. Honing my writing skills and understanding how that environment affected me has been a long journey.

However, I’m ready to get serious about building platform so what I’ve learned might help others.

I’ve found it’s no simple task to create stories of restoration from childhood sexual abuse. I’ve taken the creative non-fiction approach similar to women’s or literary fiction. My first volume in my planned-for series (Sisters of Silence) is complete and the second volume nearly so.

My subject may sound depressing, but I find much joy because of the way God heals. I also find joy in spending time biking, skiing, country living (I prefer mountains) and my family.
