I'm finally here!

Hi! I am finally prioritizing completing this course. I’m Lisa Roettger and I write nonfiction. My current project, Yours for the Taking: Unwrapping the Gift of God’s Word, is to help Christians grow closer to God by teaching them how to have a direct, one-on-one relationship with his Word.
I live in NW Illinois now, but I grew up in Chicago, went to college at University. of Illinois, and then spent over 22 years in Africa with Wycliffe Bible Translators. My husband still works with a team of translators in Nigeria and will head back there in a week.

I look forward to getting to know you all, to learning from Thomas and from you, and to encouraging us all to persevere in our writing for him.
