Author Instagram...What Are Your Thoughts?

So, first of all, I am very new to social media. Growing up, my parents never used any social media, so I haven’t either. I’m not sure how it works, or if it’s even worth it.

I’ve heard it said a lot that your email list subscribers are the most important readers. They are the most dedicated, since they put in their email to stay up to date.

However, if I’m trying to get my books out in front of new eyes, would social media be helpful? I have around 120 email subscribers and I feel like I’m sharing the same message to the same people over and over…how do I find new readers?

I’m considering starting an author Instagram and I’m curious to hear your thoughts! Thank you!
