Best Time to Send out ARC Copies

Hello everyone!

So, I need a little advice when it comes to Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs). My novel is currently being edited, and I’m rearing to generate an initial flood of reviews for when it’s available for purchase/pre-order.

Currently, very few people have read my book, but I have gotten some pledges from my friends that they’ll purchase it when it drops. I am currently on Reedsy, and am aware of their Discovery service to promote books in newsletters and send the manuscript to reviewers.

As a result, I was wondering at what stage of editing/revision would be best for ARC copies, and chronologically, when it would be best to send these out in relation to a pre-order.

If it helps any, I feel confident about the grammar part of my novel and the general direction of the plot; my main edits involve character consistency and word choices.
