Book Reviews Question

I’m an author who has had THE HARDEST time getting reviews for my books. I’ve placed a page requesting book reviews in the back of my books. I ask for them in my newsletter. When I sell direct to readers at an event, I ask for reviews as well. When it comes to reviews, especially when I see authors who have 700-800 reviews and I might have 7-10, I feel like I’m missing something. Can someone share with me what works for them to gather large amounts of book reviews? Thanks!
