Changing email address for my newsletter

I started my newsletter using the email address ethan@writinginthereign.com because I was planning to start a writing business with that name. Now I'm pivoting away from that to focus on being a picture book author and I want to use the email address ethan@ethaneshleman.com.

Does anyone have advice on how to make that change smoothly?

Should I send an email letting subscribers know about what I'm doing before I change it, or just switch it and not say anything about it?

Would bringing attention to the change cause unnecessary friction in people's minds or help them feel more connected to what I'm doing? If I don't mention it, will people be confused by the change, or are they unlikely to notice it or care if they do notice?
