Connection tips for email list promotion?

Hi there!

I had an amazing OCEAN Conference booth and generated good buzz for my series and had a pre-setup giveaway link for the series prequel. I was also able to exchange email promotion with another author I met and found doing really neat writing to the same age bracket. It was great to be able to share them with my email list readers and the reciprocal.

How are you all making this connect more often (or a better one)? Going to a conference every weekend is a bit too busy for me! For any context I am writing middle grade, Christian, adventure fiction. Thanks!
