Facebook rejected my ad for no apparent reason
Well, this is irritating. Apparently, I violated Facebook’s guidelines.
I set up a Facebook ad week-before-last in our training and Facebook began collecting my money. As of this morning, 6000+ impressions, 300+ clicks.
Here’s the text at the top.
Bank Fraud Analyst, Jesse Jonsen, was ready to let the football crazies own Minneapolis for Superbowl LII weekend. Until Leilani barged into her life and plunged her into war with an international sex trafficking ring.
And then the headline on the bottom says
The North Prairie University Work-Study Program
And then there’s a short paragraph under that.
So the ad ran and then today I got the crazy idea to add people who might care about the Superbowl to the audience. And, poof, the automation rejected it a couple hours later. I asked for a review and automation rejected it again a few seconds later.
Ya know, I’m not so sure I want to spend any more of my money with these guys. Or maybe I’ll run another ad that says, read what they don’t want you to see.
