Free? Discounted e-book?

I am speaking at an online grief summit later this fall and the organizer will offer viewers a lifetime pass to the summit for a fee. Those who buy the lifetime pass will also get gifts from speakers. I’m considering, as a part of my bonus package, offering a free (maybe discounted??) copy of my book about hope. It is currently available on Kindle for $5.99 but am I giving away books to people who might otherwise buy them? I could possibly write a short story related to the summit topic but not sure I have time for that. I’m thinking of offering a nicely formatted sheet of verses related to grief/hope plus a couple of screensavers of hope. (I’m a photographer, too.) Any advice for me? Thank you!!
