Freelance editing promotion strategies?

I know this is a bit tangential to this group, but I’m launching freelance editing this summer, and trying to figure out how to adjust my platform and promotion for that, since my audience of readers probably isn’t looking for editing services. 😅

For those of you who are freelance editors, what strategies have been most helpful to you in finding clients?

And for those of you who have worked with freelance editors, how did you find them?
