How do I drive more traffic to my blog?

I have had a blog for over two years. A few people i know have subscribed to it. A few people occasionally make comments. That’s not getting me the results I want. How should I promote my blog

Or

Since, Substack is a growing thing, should I use Substactk with a name I think people might care about instead?

Or

How long shouldI try to get an audience before I give up?

Thanks.
