How to build newsletter

Hi, friends,

I want to continue building my newsletter list. With an active blog and a year’s promotions using reader magnets on StoryOrigin and BookFunnel, my list went from 46 to 800 subscribers since September. Especially effective was my second reader magnet with a Christmas theme, but then new signups plateaued. I’ve gained and lost about equal #s for about 2 months and, at the moment, don’t have another short story in me.

What insights or other suggestions do you have for newsletter building?
