How To Market for the Second Book in a Series

Hi!

I am working toward someday publishing a whole series. I released the first book in my series in November, and plan to release the second book summer or 2025.

When I was publishing my first book, there were a lot of things to do to promote the launch. Set up an email list. Create an author website. Contact people. Get booked at events.

Now that I’m coming up on my second release, I already have a lot of those checked off. Email list? Check. Author website? Check.

The question is What do I need to do differently to promote my second book? Is there a to-do list for marketing your second book in a series?
