I'm setting up a scavenger hunt for authors; the goal is to grow our newsletters.
It is open to any Christian author who is interested in growing their newsletter. I’m making it as easy as possible, as all of us are very busy. Let me know if you are interested in getting more information.
How It Works
Each author creates a landing page (a sign-up for their newsletter and the reader magnet freebie) and provides a clue that leads readers to a specific location (a webpage, social media post, or blog entry).
Upon signup, the thank you email needs to contain a link to the next author’s landing page (so the hunt continues).
Readers will also collect a keyword from each author’s “Easter Egg” location.
Once they complete the hunt, they submit the collected keywords to enter a grand prize drawing!
Once you create your landing page, the reply email, and place the Easter Egg, this entire game should be fully automated and require no additional time on your part. I will encourage readers to forward the Hunt to their friends as well to increase our reach. A further point will be awarded for each forwarded email and a share on their social media.
