The Book!

In three months, my book is going live, and that means I need people who are excited about the book to share it! (And yes, there will be prizes and giveaways to my street team which may or may not include a custom snippet from any character’s viewpoint at any point in the story. More on that later.)

So here’s the plan:

  1. Through the month of April, I’ll release 4 emails with different things to post about my upcoming cover reveal and book launch. They will be short, simple, and come with an easy to execute posting instructions (however, you can make your own posts if you choose)

  2. On May 12th, there will be a cover reveal on Goodreads, my website, Amazon, and social media. That last part is where I need you. I need to get the post out to as many people as possible, because it will have a link to pre-orders.

  3. Throughout the month of May and June, I will slow down the posts, sending one every two weeks, speeding up again at the end of June, because on July 12th, the book will go live! On July 12th, there will be the big celebration of all the hard work and dedication it took to make the book possible. There will be prizes, possibly a live celebration call, and best of all, you will be able to purchase the book!

  4. After that, I will do a poll to see who wants to stay and who wants to leave.

Prizes!

That’s right! There will be something in it for you! (Other than helping to get a great book out there.) Prizes will be divided into tiers, much like with the Fellowship Comp prizes, so here are the tiers:

  • Participation Prize: A deleted scene from my book that didn’t make the cut.

  • Operation Aquamarine: Post at least one time about the upcoming cover reveal and at least one time about the book launch, and share with at least 10 friends.

    • Prize: A cool 3d printable bookmark

  • Operation Topaz: Post about the cover reveal and book launch at least twice and post about the cover reveal and book launch on May 12th and July 12th and share with at least 20 friends.

    • Prize: An official looking badge graphic for the CRYSTAL agency.

  • Operation Turquoise: Post about the cover reveal and book launch all four times each, as well as on the days of the cover reveal and book launch, and share with at least 50 friends.

    • A pack of stickers with the amazing full color illustrations Lucy has created! 

  • Operation Diamond: Post about the cover reveal and book launch all four times each, as well as on the days of the cover reveal and book launch and share with at least 100 friends

    • a custom snippet from any character’s viewpoint at any point in the story! (Yes, it can even be a dolphin!)

    • Prize: A free premium copy of my book when it comes out or if you prefer digital items, a free Kindle e-book.
