In which I do something I felt rather nervous about...

Following the Patreon call with Thomas, I contacted my email list, and said ‘who’d like to do a zoom call with me as part of my book launch?’

About 50 people put their hands up, so I asked Grok to find a time that would work for everyone… :)

When I did the email reminders, all I got was apologies from people who said they couldn’t make it. Which left me wondering…

Was I going to be all on my ownsome for this call?

It turned out, everything went just fine :)

I met around 16 of my readers (the super fans!) and they were lovely, asked lots of questions, and we had a fun discussion all about murder.

(I write cosy mysteries, so this isn’t as suspicious as it sounds.)

Quite a few people wrote in afterwards saying they had fun too, and would like to do this again.

So, for next my book launch, that’s what I’ll do.
