Is there a Thomas for artists?

My daughter is an artist. We were chatting yesterday about her business plans. She bemoaned the fact that she was tied to social media for marketing purposes. I was able to help her see the futility of social media, I think.

We talked about ways to grow her platform, but I wasn't really able to point her in the direction of good groups. Does anyone know of someone in the art community who has the same level of expertise as Thomas does for authors?

She's trying to decide if she wants to focus on digital art or more of a hand-drawn style. She does amazing with both.
