Looking for Feedback on Back Cover Blurb

Hi everyone,

I’ve on the final draft of my back cover for Windrider (YA sci-fi). I’d love to hear any feedback you’ve got!

When was the last time you felt the call of destiny?

As the most celebrated graduate in the history of Windrider Academy, Ari has one goal: to launch into her rookie year and become the best protector the mega-city of Gaobeyna has ever known. That dream shatters when a training accident ruins her reputation, sending her into self-exile in the desert wilderness.

What Ari doesn’t know is that an ancient dark power lies dormant beneath the sands. A ruthless faction has emerged in the city’s underground, and they will do anything to resurrect this malevolent force. Worse yet, their airborne lethality rivals the Windriders.

When the trouble in Gaobeyna spills into the desert, Ari must choose whether to keep fleeing into the wilderness, or risk her life and freedom to save the city she once swore to protect. If she returns, she'll have to face judgement as a fugitive. If she keeps running, everyone she knows will fall victim to a sinister power not seen since ancient times.

But is there any use in pursuing a dream that's already dead?
