My book was selected for a BookBub featured deal! Now what??

Does anyone know if there’s a way to schedule the discount in advance on KDP and or D2D, or do I need to go in and do it manually? If I need to do it manually, how far in advance should I do it to make absolutely sure it’s live by the promotion date (August 8)? Also, any other tips for maximizing the impact of the promotion? I’m doing a .99 deal. Thanks!
