New Mac Mic for Mike

So i’m working on an older mac (2019), hoping a new mac will be in my future soon. For now, making do. I’m preparing to use Hindenburg to record two audio books. I need a wonderful microphone on which to record my voice with the greatest clarity within a reasonable budget under $500.

Unfortunately, my wonderful Yeti Blue mic is not detected by my Mac no matter what I try, so thinking I need a more mic-friendly mic to get my audiobook ready to go.

Recommendations? 🎙️
