Old guy learning to use social media

At 83 I’ve intentionally avoided social media. I believe it’s more harmful than helpful to our quality of life. However, all my author friends and my publisher say it’s an essential vehicle to help promote books, so I’m taking the plunge.

I have Facebook, X and LinkedIn accounts. We’ll see what happens.

Any advice from fellow “dinosaurs”?
