Online video course platforms

I create teaching videos to go with Bible study books. I’ve been hosting them on YouTube and offering them for free on my website. But that means YouTube ads appear, and when a lesson finishes, people are sent to someone else’s video. I'm thinking of hosting the next one on a site such as Teachable and charging to register. What experience do you all have with Teachable and other online course platforms?
