PayPal vs. Square

There’s been some discussion on another thread about taking payments at in-person events. I was originally planning to use PayPal Zettle for this because I already have the PayPal business account. But honestly, I’m getting tired of PayPal and have heard such good things about Square that I’m considering switching. In addition to card reading options, I need payment links and invoicing options, which Square appears to do well. Media Mail shipping is the only thing I need, as far as I can see, that PayPal offers and Square doesn’t, and that’s not a dealbreaker. If any of you have used both PayPal and Square, which do you prefer? Would you say one is more user-friendly than the other? Thanks for any advice!
