Possibly legit radio show, but did the real one email me?

Hey y’all! I got an email this morning… you all know where this is going. 😂 Based on the subject line (“Questions re; Rachel”) I was quick to believe it’s another sales marketing scam. But upon reading it, it’s an invitation to be on a radio show….. also a scam, though, maybe? The sender’s name in the sender line and signature are the same. But the email address might be iffy? Info.authorontheair.globalradio.com (missing an “s” at the end of “author”)

Here’s what they said:

I didn’t look at the website, just in case it’s not safe. But I did search for their YouTube channel and found it:

Not quite as professional looking as I was expecting, but it exists.

But because of the rise in scam emails, we’re all pretty wary of even legit offers these days. And the fact they never mentioned what my novel is about is… interesting. And I’m not that self conscious of my work, but I wouldn’t describe it quite the way they did—I don’t think any of my books are that full of “sensory richness.” 😂 Also, how did they even hear about me, of all people?

There’s a few unanswered questions on my end and I’m not the type to email scammers back.

Have you guys gotten this email? What do you think? Have you heard of them before?

Thanks for y’all’s help!
