Premium domain on Bluehost: what is it?

I’m close to getting engaged, and will eventually be switching my author name to my married name, so I checked today if my future married name domain is available so that I can buy that domain for when I’ll need it.

Searching on Bluehost, I found “[marriedname].com” is available, but is listed as a premium domain with a $3,599/yr cost. That’s way out of my budget and seems ridiculous compared to the typical $15-ish per year… can someone explain what’s going on with that?

I did find “author[marriedname].com” for $12.99/yr, and my current domain is authorgracemacpherson.com, so I don’t know if it makes more sense to go with that because it follows the pattern of my previous website and is… y’know… affordably priced….

Any clarification on premium domains or advice on which domain name to go with?
