"Sponsor Tier" for Kickstarter?

Has anyone here tried adding a “Sponsor” tier for their KS campaigns? This is something I am considering, and it would look something like this:

- The highest priced backer option (1,500$+) for small businesses or wealthy backers. (Would also be a nice price anchor for the other backer levels)

- Along with all the previous levels’ perks, this level backer would get a single full page at the back of the book to advertise their services/company, all bundled within a “Sponsors” section of the back matter. They would also get 25 copies of the book (if they wish) to give as free gifts to their customers.

The benefit of this is that a lot of companies have a marketing budget, so it would be easy to appeal to friends and family who own small businesses, without asking them to donate their personal money for the campaign. It would also act as a price anchor for the lower tiers, making them seem way more reasonable.

My main concern is that it would seem a bit tacky.

What do you guys think? Has anyone tried this? Would love thoughts and opinions about this idea!
