Thoughts on Payhip?

So I’ve been on Wordpress.com since 2009. They made an update where I could no longer add my link to my downloadable reader magnet in the welcome email they send out to new subscribers (which meant not only would my new subscribers receive a general welcome email from Wordpress but then another one from me with a link to my book - annoyinng!). So I decided to move my author website (erickaclay.com) to Payhip. So far I love the integration of an online storefront and can still reach my subscribers through my weekly Substack email (I can also send them the reader magnet this way). But I wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has made this switch, and if there are any downsides to it. Thanks in advance!
