Website about to go live?

I’m preparing to launch my author website and would appreciate some advice.

I currently have two book projects underway. One is a non-fiction book that’s about 25% complete. The other is a fiction trilogy: the first book is finished, and the second is roughly 50% complete. I don’t plan to release the first fiction novel until the second one is finished.

For the website, I’m considering posting the book covers with progress indicators to show where each project stands. I also have several fiction short stories that I’m thinking of making available to read on the site.

In addition, the fiction series includes an extensive pre-story history spanning a large geographic map, along with a detailed timeline of major historical events. I’m considering including a high-resolution map and a curated timeline on the website.

I’d appreciate any thoughts or recommendations on how best to approach this.
