Website SEO Optimization

I’m trying to find someone reliable to work on my SEO optimization for my website. I’ve actually hired two different people on Fiverr, and both times my website hits go way down. At one point I was getting 1000 hits a month (with no hired optimization). Now I’m all the way down to 100.

Does anyone here know of someone who specializes in this (especially for Christian authors)? I appreciate your help.
