WMTP Fake Emails?

I tried to set up an email list a week ago, which didn’t seem to work when I tested it with one of my anonymous emails. However, my weekly report they sent me shows that I sent six emails. After trying again, I have concluded that there must be some error as it STILL won’t send me any emails. Does anybody know what could be causing this? Or how to fix it? I can’t figure out where it shows the email addresses since EVERY plug-in on Wordpress has pro version it wants you to pay for. Even I bought the pro version of the ones that I care about, spending a hundred dollars a month on random plug-ins for a start-up website sounds less than appealing.

Any advice is appreciated.
