AI: Current temperature on cover art

Good morning all. The whole pro/con of AI in writing has been boiling away for a while now. The angst against it seems a little less than a year ago.

I’m still on the use it for research and grammar check only side of the writing part. But I’d like to ask. What about cover art? I’ve got a human artist/designer on contract for my first three books (Gifts of Olmith) but I’ve noticed quite a few fairly obvious AI covers on the market lately. Is it becoming accepted now
