Always discounted audiobooks…

I learned today that all Kindle Unlimited books that are also on Audible are automatically offered in the discounted audiobook program.

In other words, if you download a book on KU, you will get the chance to purchase that audiobook for $7.97.

For authors this means the audiobook will earn perhaps a $1.99 commission, irregardless of the declared retail price.

This essentially means that KU membership gives you an Audible rate on audiobooks.
