Best POD hard cover w jacket printer?

I recently learned that the KDP hardcover is a lame excuse for a hardcover. Probably 80% of the sales of my upcoming gardening book will be for a gift - which really needs the traditional looking hardcover, paper jacket format.

My understanding is that BookVault can do POD hardcover, but not in the US. I think I can purchase a bunch (say 100 copies) then sell them direct from my website, but then I’m adding another mailing expense.

Anyone have a solution to getting traditional-looking hardcovers w jackets printed, without a jumpstarter for an offset printing run?

Also, if anyone knows how I can get the BookVault-printed hardcovers to AMZ to allow customers to order the BV printed version on the AMZ platform, I’d love to know!
