Best time of year to publish a book?

Does the time of year matter when publishing a book? Or does it vary based on genre? I know I tend to read more during the summer, but I don’t know if that’s just me. So far, I’ve just published books as I have time (full time college student, so I did one over Christmas break, one over summer break, and one over Thanksgiving break), but I’d love to come up with a better system where I’m publishing one book per year and at a predictable time.
