Best Time to Release a Teen/YA SF novel?

Hi everyone!

I’m currently building my Kickstarter page, and I’m curious if anyone here has any suggestions about when the best time to release a teen/YA sci-fi novel would be?

I asked Gemini, and it told me that the best time was February/March. On Author Update, I heard that any books with a thriller element (mine included!) were best scheduled for release in August and September.

What are all your guys’ thoughts and experiments with releasing sci-fi and fantasy, or any other kind, of self-published books for that matter?
