Creating E-books Using Calibre

Hi all. Does anyone know how exactly to use the software Calibre to covert novels or book written from Word into e-books? I did it once, but don’t remember how I did it and would like to be able to create e-pubs for my books so they be available for more than just Amazon Kindle and so I can upload through Draft2digital for more distribution. Any ideas??? 🤔
