Findaway Voices - Long Delay Publishing to Audible

In early April, I uploaded and began distribution of an audiobook via Findaway Voices. Within a couple weeks, the audiobook showed up on all of the distribution sites … except Audible. But 2.5 months later, it still hasn’t appeared in Audible.

On May 30th, Findaway Voices said the audiobook’s “status has been claimed and is stuck in the onboarding process, this means the title will be reviewed by ACX, which we apologize for, as we are currently dealing with a huge backlog. However, rest assured that we have followed up with our distribution team and they will make sure your title is published on Audible as soon as possible.”

And then today (June 25), Findaway Voices said the following: “We are currently dealing with a huge backlog. However, rest assured that we have followed up with our distribution team and they will make sure your title is published on Audible as soon as possible.”

QUESTION: Can I remove Audible (ACX) as a distribution option in Findaway Voices and then simply upload it myself in ACX? Should I do this? Any factors I should be aware of?

Thanks.
