Formatting issue when publishing wide

Hi. I publish wide on various platforms. Many of these (Kobo and Draft 2 Digital) use Adobe Digital Editor to allow me to view the book before it’s published. I first create an epub on Calibre, then upload it to Kobo or D2D (or use D2D’s formatting and conversion), but when I preview my book on Adobe Digital Editor, it inserts blank pages. Does anyone have this problem? Does anyone know what causes it and what to do about it? Thank you!
