Help Solve a KDP/Ingram Spark Mystery

Indie authors, please help me figure out why orders placed through Amazon for the hardcover format of my second book, The Fourth Scroll, are being fulfilled by BOTH Amazon KDP and Ingram simultaneously. I thought it had to be one or the other.

Since I earn 2.5x the royalty from POD orders fulfilled by KDP, I want them to do it. I set up the book on Ingram Spark (after Amazon KDP) so readers could order the hardcover from Barnes & Noble, etc.

I have scoured Amazon’s site looking for a second ASIN for my book that may have come from Ingram, but I can’t find one. Adding to my frustration, some of my meta data seems to be messed up, I’m guessing by Ingram.

I’ve contacted both Amazon and Ingram about why this is happening and all they tell me is that I will need to remove my hardcover book from distribution via Ingram. I’d rather not do that since it will no longer be distributed to B&N and other non-Amazon channels.

Any idea why this is happening or suggested solutions? Thanks so much!!!
