Help with gathering endorsements

I’ve learned in the Obscure No More course that getting endorsements from other authors in my genre is something I should do in order to place those endorsements on the back of my book cover.

I’m a very unknown author (hence the need for me to be in the Obscure No More course). What are the specific steps for getting a book endorsement from a more well known author? Thanks!
