How to format verses from Psalms?

How should I format verses from Psalms in a novel? I’m working on the interior formatting of my novel and want to format this 1) per industry standards and 2) so the reader doesn’t lose interest. Should it be presented as the Bible does (like a poem), or is that too long? Should I eliminate all the spacing so it reads like normal Bible verses?
