ISBN necessary for lead magnet?

Just wondering if it's necessary or important to assign an ISBN to my short story lead magnet? I purchased a block of them, so it wouldn’t be hard to do. I just didn’t know if it was necessary. The short story is only on my website, not published anywhere else. Any advice?
