Really happy with this Year Overview Planning Setup

Last year I bought a paper whole-year calendar. I put removeable post-its on it, and used it for a publication calendar. It was really helpful to see all the goals on it, and to be able to adjust as necessary.

This year, I found a better setup and wanted to share it.

The thing that improves it is some stickers that relate to the author life/ small business. Stickers appropriate for authors are hard to find. Most are geared toward school/teaching/fitness. It’s also inspirational to have pretty things.

The stickers:

I’m planning to color-code the different projects I have this year. This sticker set is called MidCentury and it has a retro/modern feel. I also like how the months on this calendar (below) are horizontal. I think it’s a good way to feel like I am “moving through” the year. Maybe, also, I like it because each month is like a sentence.

Anyhow, I’ve included the links. Maybe others will enjoy or get inspiration. I got the folding calendar, (above) but they have the write-on kind at Office Depot (and Amazon) that you can use a overhead projecter (vis a vis) pen on instead. I prefer paper. It hangs better on the front of my bookshelf.
