Timing to Start an LLC

I listened to the episode on forming an LLC again. I am nowhere near ready to launch my book. Do I need to create an LLC before I launch my first solo book?

Also, in the course that talked about ways an author can make money besides book publishing, I think Thomas mentioned editing and proofreading. Would having an LLC increase my chances of someone selecting me to be their proofreader/editor? Thanks.
