Unsolicited Marketing barrage

Is anybody else suddenly getting a surge in emails praising your book(s) and offering to market for you?

I’ve always had a few of these come through, but this month it’s been every few days. The first ones were kind of tricky, presenting themselves as a reader with questions about your book and where you want to take the series. It almost got me until I noticed that the email had the word marketing in it.

If you’re not seeing these, maybe I ended up on a new list after my first Kickstarter (though they’re pitching me for books that have been out for years.)

Also, be on the lookout for unsolicited service offers disguising themselves as highly engaged readers.
